Straight out of Country Magazine....Featuring the Gratz Home

Isn't this house just gorgeous!!!!!! Let me introduce you to the Gratz residence. I had the pleasure to shoot a shower here a few weeks ago...and I couldn't help but want to take pictures of EVERYTHING! First of all...this house holds a special place in my heart...this is where my whole career really began with photography ..last year May 1st , 2010. Patty and Lonnie were so kind to let me use their property for my first ever photography event.."tutu's and ties mini session". This was such a magical day for me...I had so much fun and felt like this is what I was meant to do.... The event was such a huge success all because they believed in me and were so inviting to let me take over their home for the day. Patty and Lonnie are two of the most loving, fun, warm people you will ever meet. I tell ya...they are some special people and most everyone that knows them would agree! I wish I had half of the ability to decorate like Patty....your home is so amazing...! Thank you so much for always making me feel welcome...and part of your family... much love...xoxo Rachel

I had the pleasure of photographing this Sweet lady ...Crystal Becker. She is expecting Twins in July...a boy and a girl... can life get any sweeter than that? Doesn't she look great? I can't wait to photograph her maternity shoot and the two babes in her belly.....xoxo

Spring Mini sessions are finally here!!!!



Date : Sunday April 10Th
Where: Downtown Sumner /outside
Time: 10-5pm

Sessions will be running every 15 minutes!

Includes: 5 edited digital images to choose from your gallery ...if additional images are applicable they will be available for additional cost as well as print packages!

*** I decided to go with Spring theme to keep it bright and fun...and timeless! I will bring some Easter props such as vintage Easter baskets and such if anyone chooses to use them!

*** Galleries will be up within two weeks or less from the mini session date!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge of the week!

Valentines's Mini's for the Kiddo's!!!!

The Valentine Mini's are up!!!!!! Now taking appointments!

I am so excited for Valentine's day! My favorite holiday of the year!!! I decided to go with the bright and fun look this year!

Sessions will take place outside (tentative to weather) in downtown Sumner. If the weather is looking bad we will switch to indoor location with the plain white backdrop! I will have handmade heart valentine's as pictured for prop use if needed!

Suggestions for clothing:

Girls: bright valentine colors(reds,pinks,whites) tutu's, pettiskirts, baby legs, leggings...anything bright and colorful!!!!!

Boys: LOVE hats-fedora's(can be found at SugarBabies), blazers, fun ties (can be found on etsy )layer, layer , layer!

Cost is $49.95 + tax -payment due upon booking your appointment. Package includes 5 edited high resolution files + 1 digital valentine card for printing enjoyment. All pictures will be done with in 1 week or sooner (February 12Th) Once payment is made a confirmation of your time,payment and an informational email will be sent to you going over details of the shoot!

Thinking about boudoir???.....new payment options too!

So I thought I would post some information about the Boudoir sessions since I have recieved a few inquiries on what exactly it is....

What is it??

Boudoir – pronounced bŏo dwăawr comes from late 18th century French word and is translated as – a woman’s bedroom or a private sitting room. Boudoir photography, therefore, usually takes place in a setting such as a bedroom or a hotel room… an intimate setting to create classy images that can be soft, romantic, sexy and sensual. The main focus of a boudoir photographer is to capture you in the most flattering way by guiding you through the poses that compliment your body type.

Who should go for boudoir photography?

Well...anyone! Anyone that is a woman (over 18) can do boudoir session. I know the number one reason getting in the way of doing a boudoir session would go a little something like this... "I need to lose weight" ... " I don't have a perfect body" ....well I am here to tell you..... EVERYONE is beautiful. From size 0 to 50....we all have beauty in ourselves ...confidence is key...Really that is what you will be paying me for...it's my job to make you look great in poses that are best for your body type and most flattering. There are so many ways other ways to capture beauty in your photo's than just standing there half naked....! On a more serious note...if your thinking of doing a boudoir session but not being completely happy with your body is getting in your way from booking...think again....they will turn out beautiful and you will absolutely love them (and so will your significant other :).

Now I know this is just after the holidays....when everyone has just spent their life savings on Christmas...so I want to make this affordable for everyone. I am going to require $100 deposit for your appointment. Another $100 is due the day of your session on the 30th and the remainder balance plus tax will be due before valentines day when you pick up your session package ! This will be a much easier way to keep a surprise for your loved one too!!!!!

This is going to be so much fun...and a win win situation for your valentine and you!!!! Let the pampering begin... Hair will be approximately 45 minutes ...and make up another 45 minutes.
